Things to do - Mornington Peninsula


Bushwalking
For a terrific coastal walk, visit Cape Schanck Lighthouse, and then make your way along the clifftop towards Bushranger Bay. Along the way you will see many native birds in their natural habitat and spectacular coastal scenery. The walk takes 1.5 to 2 hours return.

Golf
The Mornington Peninsula has many terrific golf courses to choose from. Ask your B&B host for the nearest course.

Horse Riding
Always wanted to ride a horse along a deserted beach? Gunnamatta Trail Rides (Truemans Rd, Rye, Ph: 5988 6755) gives you the opportunity. Farmland, bush rides and lessons are also available. web site

    Red Hill Market is on the first Saturday of every month from September to May. Red Hill Showgrounds

    Mornington Farmers Market is open on the second Saturday of every month. Vale Street, Mornington
    Balnarring Racecourse Market (Emu Plains) run by Rotary on the third Saturday of the month from November to April.
    Sorrento Craft Market operates on the fourth Saturday of every month from September through to April.

    Arthurs Seat Lookout
    Enjoy the superb view from Arthurs Seat, the highest point on the Peninsula, which takes in the sweeping bay of Dromana and Safety Beach. On the horizon you can pick out the Melbourne city skyline.
