Outlook Hill-- Yarra Valley Accommodation |
Outlook Hill is the quintessential Yarra Valley vineyard accommodation, on an exclusive family-run, 60-acre property with magnificent views over rows of vines and across the valley.
At Outlook Hill time is your own...the choice is yours... perhaps wine tasting and a leisurely vineyard wander, view the original modern artworks by the resident artist Snow displayed in the cellar door and cottages, meander through the local antique shops and fresh produce stores at the neighbouring villages of Healesville and Yarra Glen or....curl up under the snugly woollen throw by the fire in your cottage, read a novel to the end... ...and add a therapeutic massage to unwind.
The exclusive vineyard cottages are purpose-built, cosy and warm with contemporary interiors, easily catering for all the usual needs of a getaway. A wall of retractable glass doors combines the lounge and deck into one open air room. Watch the sun set over the misty blue ranges and stretches of vines. Breathe in the fresh country air as you recline on your lounge with a good book coupled with a glass of red or white, or rest against the cushions on your bed with the french doors wide open. You will notice, as you enter the cottage, that all rooms have been designed to appreciate the breathtaking view. Cottage features include double spa, wood fire, big lounge (sofa bed), air-conditioning and reverse cycle heating, a separate queen size bedroom, crisp linen, fluffy towels, electric blanket and woollen throws. The well appointed cook's kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances including microwave, 4 burner gas cook top, iron griller plate, smart utensils, cutlery, quality saucepans, glass ware and crockery (note: no stove). Generous coninental breakfast provisions, locally baked bread, fresh teas/coffees and thoughtful extras can be found in your cottage pantry. Outlook Hill is located in the area known as Tarrawarra, between Yarra Glen and Healesville, in what most would consider to be the very centre of the Yarra Valley. Add to My List of Favourites
